Ihave to admit i was a bit concerned this morning when I heard the terrible news about the train crash - it tiik me a few seconds to realize that it was nowhere near you - so that was a relief.
Realy enjoying your travelog - and the oictures of Nara brought back a lot of good memories -( did you see all the terrapins in the town square pond??)I do remember the deer - they are so tame its untrue - and of course the bhudda - its HUGE!!!!

I did know about the rail crash but didnt know the details as It was on the front of a japanese newspaper. I did see all the terrapins in the town square pond I forgot to mention. Yea there were loads of them sunning themselves on the logs that were in the pond it was wikkid.
