Kiwi Land

I have now hit down in New Zealand!!!!!! I managed to secure an exit seat again on the plane so had tons of leg room :)

Last night was pretty funny as about 8 of us all piled into a room at the Beach House Hostel in Cairns. We had a good game going on with the fan in the room which involved bottles, cans, sheets, toilet paper and pillows so the room did look quite a mess after we had finished! Everyone else decided to head into town but I wanted to make a few calls and have a good sleep before getting the flight in the morning.

The flight was ok, lunch was nice although there wasnt much of it and there was only one film on which was racing stripes -- err not thanks! So I just listened to the on flight music which was pretty good. NZ is 2 hours ahead of OZ so I had to adjust the time on my watch which now makes me 11 hours ahead of the UK. When we got off the plane (Me, Justin and Chris) we met up with Stu and Claire who had also been on the Oz Bus so all got the airpot shuttle to ABC (Auckland Central Backpackers). At first we got on the free terminal bus which took us to the domestic terminal so had to go all the way back haha.

We all managed to get a room to share which was good and this hostel is really nice. Me, Chris and Stu went to get something to eat and ended up ordering 3 large pizzas from domioes as they were only $9 each and you got a free 1.5ltr of coke and some garlic bread yum! We also went to the bottle shop to get a few beers and chill out in our room. We also went downstairs to check out the bar/club called the globe bar but it was really rubbish so didnt stay there too long and went off to bed.
